Upcoming Events:
A race to benefit Long Islands veterans in times of personal crisis. Race course is on the taxiways and runways of MacArthur airport. At points along the course, you will observe planes taking off and landing making for an unusual and exciting running experience. Registration deadline is June 2nd for online applications. We will also have a sign up sheet at the gym.
As you know our team qualified and we are advancing to the Regionals. Regionals will be held June 17th - June 19th at Reebok World Headquarters in Canton Mass.
I will be posting specific details including hotel accommodations and a general itinerary in the upcoming days. We want as many of you as possible to come cheer your team on. The weekend will be an absolute blast and you will get to witness some amazing performances by the best in the Northeast.

5k on the runway seems cool. Consider me interested.
As far as the Regionals I didn't go last year to watch and I've literally spent the last 365 days regretting that decision. All I remember is seeing the faces of everyone who went and how, for lack of a better word, "stoked" they were afterwards and I knew I had missed something special. If you think you have any interest in this stuff at all come cheer on CFSS even if it's just for the day. Guaranteed to be an awesome time!

Rob I agree about attending the regionals. I signed up to attend even before CFSS made it into the playoffs. It happened to be the day after all of you guys went up to the Festivus and the enthusiasm on everyone's face was addicting.
I wasn't even sure I could go (baseball) but I figured it was $25 well spent in case I could squeeze it in.
And for the record, the 12 year old White Sox in Sayville Little League are kicking some ass this year! We get in the other teams head when we do air squats, groiners, and mountain climbers before we even warm up our arms. :-). (I'm saving burpees for playoff time... Dirty uniforms before the game starts, bring it Dodgers!)
