From the members:
I know it is not much but if you recall, I started Crossfit initially to rehab the knee and to get in better shape for baseball.
The visual results have been great but I can see and the players can see a change in my play.
I am faster, quicker and more agile. I am making plays that I have not made in years and not only competing with players 20 years younger but throwing out many base stealers this year then in past.
I play in a very competitive mens league where we have players that have played major league. In fact one player that we just played against was just recently cut from the Tampa Bay Rays AAA affiliate.
I have only made a little more than 1/2 the games this year due to work and family but statistically I am having a good year. Even my outs are hit hard and solid and it has been fun and I have to credit CrossFit for not only getting me back in shape but allowing me to do many other things on the ball field that ordinary training would not have done for me.
Thanks,
See you this week
Dave Barry

I was just gonna re post my spiel from yesterday but then I was reminded of a story my father told me when I asked him if he went to Woodstock. It was the summer of his 18th birthday and he had some buddies headed up there but he decided to spend the weekend getting some extra hours working in the kitchen at the Three Village Inn. Now my old man was by no means a hippie but if given the chance to do it over I know for certain that he would've made the trip. Have I crossed the line by comparing the Regionals this weekend to Woodstock maybe so, maybe not. But you won't know unless you show. So who's down for three days of not peace, love and music, but Blood, Sweat, and Tears?

Wait...isn't Blood, Sweat and Tears a band? Were they at Woodstock? lol

Nice Dave! Swing batter batter! Of course you're getting results. You bring it every time and you're very consistant. Very cool to hear how CF translates to sport. I'm sure the BS boys can chime in on this too.
Rob, don't forget Billy and his bro. Danny"The Missing Person" Reuter. What do you think; Mike B."The Silent Assassin" this weekend. People will be like, WTF! Where'd he come from? Maxine and Danielle, not so silent. But killers. Lauren, game day star. I was at Queens. She was crazy good. And leading all by example, Doug and Anthony. Super consistant and unbelievable coaches. Big thanks to Doug and Tara for putting together this awsome team!
