Mike, TRULY AMAZING PAL!!
In this world there are people that wish, and then there are people that do. The "DOERS" are the people that get RESULTS. Your results show that you are a true "DOER."
You represent the mindset, committment & perseverance of what it takes to achieve greatness!
So I not only want to congratulate you for your success so far, as a fellow athlete I would like to THANK YOU for LEADING BY EXAMPLE so the rest of us can follow.
You are the MAN!

Mike, what an amazing accomplishment. You should be incredibly proud of yourself. There is no doubt in my mind that you will reach your goal because the first thing you said to me yesterday was that you are looking forward to the next milestone weight loss plateau.
A guy loses a hundred pounds and he is already focused on the next 20...
Dude, THAT is focus!

Mike,
I remember you first coming in and speaking to Doug and I regarding what we do at CFSS. Your cousin, Gregg Millwater had had such great results that you wanted some too. Our first session was on March 29, 2011, weighing in at 430lbs. It was the start of a new life for you. As of August 24, 2011 you are now 100lbs lighter! Amazing.... Amazing...You are not only lighter on the scale but a new Mike has emerged! You are more confident and open. You asked me a couple weeks ago," Does loosing weight make one more aggressive?" I replied, "Definitely not!" Loosing weight is like peeling back the layers of an onion. More of the real you comes out. The self confidence it brings to one is unprecedented! You start to value oneself and that leads to learning that you are a valuable member of society regardless of weight! Keep on trucking, keep on inspiring...

Mike, that's is pretty amazing. What is nice is that it looks like you are doing it and having fun. Keep it up and look forward to reading about you on the next blog when you reach your next goal.
Great Job

Mike, just to reiterate what has been said about 15 times already, YOU ARE AMAZING!!! And, an inspiration to us all! When you walked in those doors on March 29, you made a decision to change your life, and in doing so, through your dedication, effort and hard work you have also inspired many of us to work a little harder and push ourselves a little more in each wod we do alongside you. You are an amazing person, keep doing what you are doing and you will conquer every goal you set!

I truly owe all of you at CFSS my thanks, without your guidance and support I don't think I would have been half as successful with my weight loss. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you Tara, Doug and all my CFSS family.

Awesome job Mike, look forward to seeing you continue to destroy it day in and day out and seeing what amazing things you will accomplish.

Awsome Mike, simply awesome!

Incredible! Keep up the fantastic work Mike. Your focus is undeniable and effort is second to none. I always admire that extra effort you put in and that you do so with a smile! Thank you for sharing all that you have to offer with each of us!
On a side note I just want to point out how strong the community at CFSS is. Everyone gets as psyched about the accomplishments as others as they do their own successes. That's a true testament to what Crossfit is truly about and the environment Doug and Tara continue to nourish! Thank you.

Mike what you've done is no easy task. You've had quite the challenge and have beaten the crap out of it. Incredible job and i'm sure it's just the start of the many incredible things you will do i the future.

Mike, I remember watching you grind your way through Murph. Every rep, every step was with unstoppable determination. It was an awesome sight! I know many "fit" people that want no part of a workout like that. But you have heart and no one can stop you. It's just the beginning of a wonderful new life. Enjoy it, keep smiling, and stay aggressive!
Your Friend,
Jim
