Congratulations! We are one week into the “Challenge” and everyone is still alive. Early feedback has been nothing but positive. Soon you’ll be lobbying for Starbucks to carry carafes of coconut milk. But lets hear from you; How are you doing? What challenges have you run into? Cravings? How is your body feeling? Performance? Recovery? Energy levels? Lets get some feedback here on the blog.
Week one point totals will need to be turned in today. I have created a weekly point tracking sheet that each of you will need to fill out and hand in. You can Download Challenge Points Work Sheet or we will have blank sheets at the gym. Please have your food log available for us to review as well.
We had the last of the competitors complete the initial performance WOD on Saturday and now have the initial rankings available:

Week 1 over and I'm feeling amazing. I'm still battling sugar cravings but continue to win. I refuse to lose nutrition points! I feel the best when I wake up in the morning. That's when I notice how much eating clean pays off. I might be slightly abusing macadamia nuts....just slightly. This week will be under control. I miss half and half in my coffee more than anything else. Other than that....and peanut butter and some chocolate...not too much has changed. Mike and I have been busy planning, prepping, cooking, eating, cleaning and repeating. Bring it!

I actually cant believe how good this is going.. its been 1 week and i feel incredible.. in the beginning it was a little hard just because my body was getting used to it but i still cant believe how much better i feel... i look foward to writing everything down in my log book and really staying on track.. knowing that everyone else is doing this makes it that better.. i never thought i would be able to do this but im going 1 week strong and i cant wait for the weeks to come

quick question about the point system....
would mondays sleep point count from sunday into monday ... or what you get monday night into tuesday

Sunday nights sleep counts for Mondays points. Think of it as every good day starts with a good nights sleep.

Ditto to Rick H. Struggle with prepping 2 meals ea day (at dinner especially). One paleo for me, the other not so paleo for my family. I'm Missing grains (loved to eat cereal, french fries & chips--oops can I say that?!) The biggest PLUS I feel after a week is the 8+ hours of sleep & of course, my paleo diet! Loving the sleep & realize how much I do need that to feel energized the next day!

I feel AWESOME... I just hope I can keep this up. Had a fight with a hershey bar last night (yes, I was literally cursing at it). Thankfully my father finally ate it-- haven't convinced him of going Paleo yet. I want to thank Doug and Tara for the much needed jump start, and I also want to thank all of you for helping me though every single day. I find myself texting people when I'm about to have a meltdown. And you all always talk me through it :). Can't wait for week 2!!!

Ladies and gentlemen of the Crossfit community, I'm just a caveman. I fell on some ice and later got thawed out by some of your scientists. Your world frightens and confuses me. I don't understand why your meat is wrapped in a clear film in places of barter. I don't understand why the people in that strange box on legs fight over oblong-shaped food for hours. It all confuses me.
